Jennifer Liu, LPCC-S, RPT-S Owner of Cincinnati Counseling and Play Therapy
Jenny works best with individuals ages 18 and older who are having difficulties with stress, anxiety, depression and past traumatic experiences. Jenny is also available for supervision towards LPCC/S licensure, and RPT/S certification. Contact Jenny at jenny@cincinnaticpt.com.
Jenny Liu is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor-Supervisor (LPCC-S) and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S). At this time, Jenny utilizes her experiences of working with children who have experienced trauma to best assist adults who are overcoming childhood trauma. Jenny has worked in the mental health field since 2008, and has focused her career on mental health counseling since 2013. She has experience working with clients ages 2 to 90–meeting in homes, schools, nursing homes, and office-settings. She also has experience working with depression, anxiety, self-acceptance and trauma experience.
Jenny believes in the power of positive relationships and works to establish trust and rapport with each client. Jenny has an integrative approach and uses interventions dependent on the individual's needs. She utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with individuals who have experienced any sort of trauma. When working with adults, she utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered therapy. For older children and adolescents, she uses a combination of play therapy and CBT. For younger children, she uses child-centered play therapy which allows clients to express themselves without having to be able to verbalize their thoughts and feelings. Jenny enjoys integrating mindfulness techniques with clients of all ages. Jenny is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Association for Play Therapy. She has training in EMDR, Play Therapy, Theraplay, Sandtray Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Jenny currently serves as Communications Director for the Ohio Association for Play Therapy. She is a graduate of Hanover College (BA, Psychology) and Xavier University (MA, Mental Health Counseling).

Emily Heydinger, LPCC, RPT
Emily works best with preschool through college aged individuals, who struggle with anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and current or past trauma experience. Emily can be reached emily@cincinnaticpt.com.
Emily Heydinger is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT). Emily works primarily with children, adolescents, and teens / young adults. Emily has experience working with behavioral and adjustment concerns including: ADHD, depression, anxiety, physical and neurological disabilities, and trauma.
Previously, Emily served as a job coach for individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities, with ages ranging from 16 to 55. Emily also worked as a camp counselor at Camp BraveHeart, where she worked with children ages 5 to 12 who had experienced the death of a loved one. She has also assisted with the Incredible Years Program, where she worked with at-risk children in schools. Further, Emily worked as a research assistant where she helped conduct a study that examined the impact of attachment between a child and his/her mother.
Emily believes in the importance in creating a safe and caring for environment for each client and strives to form a positive working relationship. Emily tailors each session to fit the client’s needs and personality. When working with children, Emily primarily utilizes a directive and/or non-directive play therapy approach in combination with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). For older individuals, Emily primarily uses a cognitive behavioral therapy approach.
Emily is a graduate of Miami University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a double minor in Child Studies and Management and Leadership, and of Xavier University where she earned a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Rebecca Morra, LPCC, CCTP

Rebecca Morra is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). With deep curiosity, Rebecca strives to understand her clients of all ages. She has worked in the health field since 2000 and has focused her career on mental health counseling since 2014. She has experience working in a juvenile detention center, schools and private practice office- settings. Rebecca works with clients with a variety of challenges including: trauma, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, chronic diseases such as Type 1 Diabetes, relationship challenges, parenting challenges, grief and more.
Innately creative herself, Rebecca uses a variety of creative ways to reach and work with clients. Rebecca has a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University, and experience and training in cultural diversity. She strongly believes in the possibility of positive, lasting change.

Megan Tritschler, LPCC

Megan Tritschler is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Megan is also in the process of becoming a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). At this time, she primarily works with children, adolescents, and their parents in order to foster and maintain healthy social and emotional development. Megan has experience working with anxiety, behavioral and/or emotional concerns, attention difficulties, current and/or past trauma, and more. She also has experience working in a variety of different settings by meeting clients in schools, Head Starts, daycares, and office-settings.
One of Megan’s primary goals with each client is to establish trust and safety within the therapeutic relationship and environment. She also believes in the importance of allowing each client to have choice in the therapy room as well as a voice in their own treatment. Megan uses an integrative approach by focusing on the clients’ strengths, needs, and interests. She also utilizes directive and non-directive play therapy techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness.
Megan is a member of the Association for Play Therapy and is credentialed for consultation in Early Childhood Mental Health. She graduated from Xavier University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology as well as minors in Peace Studies and Gender and Diversity Studies. Megan remained at Xavier and graduated in 2018 with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
