Platform We use Doxy.me for our Online Counseling sessions. Doxy.me is HIPAA compliant, which ensures that your sessions are only between you and your counselor. Before an Online Counseling session you will be sent a link for the "virtual waiting room" that can be opened in a web browser on your computer, phone, or tablet.
Benefits Online Counseling can used regularly or intermittently depending on your needs. Online Counseling offers convenience and can help you stay more engaged in your treatment if coming to the office becomes difficult.
Requirements In order to participate in Online Counseling you must complete the necessary intake paperwork that will be sent to electronically. Additionally, you need to ensure that you have access to high-speed internet and that you can video chat in a private space.
